Curriculum & Materials Overview

Bridges K-5 Curriculum

Bridges in Mathematics is a full elementary school curriculum that provides the tools, strategies, and materials teachers need to implement the NCTM standards.  Each grade level has been field tested in the classroom and correlated to all state standards.
 

Elementary School Materials

In addition to Bridges in Mathematics we offer two elementary school programs, Box It or Bag It Mathematics (K-2) and Opening Eyes to Mathematics (3-4). Supplemental materials include Number Corner (K-5), Bridges Breakouts (K-5), and Problem Solving with Story Boxes (K-2).

Middle and High School Materials

Visual Mathematics (5-10) is our most comprehensive middle / high school program while Algebra Through Visual Patterns (6-10) provides a semester’s worth of activities for first year students. Supplemental materials include the fourteen units of Math and the Mind’s Eye (5-10).

Manipulatives

Hands-on learning and visual models are core elements of our approach to math education. We’ve brought together some of the most popular manipulatives from our classroom materials along with other selected items.

Other Math Resources

Our math programs often incorporate children’s literature which we make available separately along with other books and useful items for parents and math educators including instructional guides, educational activities, and supplies.
