Summer Classes with MLC

Are you looking to improve your students' math understanding through the use of manipulatives and hands-on learning? Want to deepen your own math content knowledge? Or perhaps you want to learn more about teaching Number Corner or Bridges at your grade level?

This summer, The Math Learning Center offers many open enrollment workshops. Offerings include a wide variety of Bridges classes, both introductory and advanced. Many courses are offered by grade level band. Also consider Algebra Through Visual Patterns as well as Linking Mathematics & Literature. (On a personal note, I brought in well over 100 books last summer to teach Math & Lit. I'm planning on smashing that record this year. You should see the stacks in my office. I may need to add on a room.)
