Using "Search Site" for a Blog Entry

As the blog grows, you may find it helpful to become familiar with the "Search Site" function in the cluster of purple navigation buttons at the top right of each page. When you arrive, go directly to "Advanced Search" located right below the keywords box.

Then, as an example, enter "questioning strategies" in the box labeled "Containing the Phrase" and checkmark "blog entry" on the right as shown here in the visual. Three results appear, the first being a link to the original blog entry with pdfs of questioning strategies to print and post around the classroom. Try experimenting with your own phrases to gain familiarity with the search function.

Also remember to use the Blog Tags found under "Categories" along the right menu of the Blog itself. You can peruse categories for anything from "Children's Literature" to "Standards" to "Geometry."
