Skills Across the Grade Levels -These charts identify the instructional level (e.g., introduced, developed, mastered) at which major skills and concepts are addressed in each unit. Assessment Tools - These assessment materials were designed in collaboration with Educational Solutions NW and the first grade teachers in the White River School District in Washington. Although they were written to track students' progress with respect to the Washington standards, these assessments address first grade skills common to most states, so we wanted to share them with teachers around the country. Number Corner Support Activities List - Here is a list of all the student support activities in the first grade Number Corner, grouped by skill.  Grade 1 Support List  (10/09)

Work Place Instructions - A set of blacklines including a materials list, a summary of the skills learned during the activity, and detailed instructions for implementation. Grade 1 Workplace Instructions.

Material List by Unit - For each unit you'll find lists of the blacklines to photocopy and supplies to gather. Grade 1 Materials List by Unit.

Sharing Responsibilities for Advance Preparation Charts - These charts itemize the advance preparation tasks for each unit and month of Number Corner as a to-do list. Each chart includes space for teachers to assign tasks among grade-level colleagues so that they can share the work, but teachers can also use the charts independently.
