Each year hundreds of educators attend Math Learning Center (MLC) workshops for practical teaching strategies and insights into how children learn. Whether focused on a broad topic or a specific set of materials, MLC workshops offer a rich learning experience.
Our workshop leaders not only present powerful methods for teaching mathematics, they also model these strategies in their instruction. Our leaders are experienced educators who have used our materials and methods in their own classrooms.
We offer open enrollment workshops as well as contract workshops that can be tailored to the specific needs of your school or district. Workshops usually last from 10 to 30 hours and most include the option of college credit through Western Oregon University.
