Bridges by Grade Level: Pre-K

Overview

Bridges Pre-K is playful and play-based, designed to engage children through the use of contextual themes, games, stories, mysteries and intriguing problems, manipulatives and visual models. It is also logically sequenced around well-researched developmental progressions to allow for depth and focus as children progress in knowledge and skills. 

Bridges Pre-K provides instruction across the recommended math content areas, including number, operations, geometry, patterning, measurement, and data analysis.

Getting (Re)Started

The Getting (Re)Started series of three webinars was designed to support teachers as they transition from remote to in-person learning. Our curriculum consultants LaKeshia Cooper and Jennifer Christensen led an engaging review and discussion of the instructional practices that create the Bridges classroom experience. Each 45-minute webinar focuses on one of the three core components of the Bridges curriculum: Problems & Investigations, Work Places, and Number Corner.

Bridges Intervention in a Remote Setting (Part 2)

During this 45-minute webinar, Math Learning Center Curriculum Consultants led a guided exploration of the Bridges Intervention Resources created for the 2020-21 school year. Participants experienced a Volume 5 Intervention Session and will have the opportunity to utilize apps, Google Docs, and Work Places as outlined in the 2020-21 resources.
