Bridges University Program

The Math Learning Center is pleased to announce the Bridges University Program. “The purpose of this program is to provide the content of Bridges second edition to schools of education as a resource for math related courses,” explained Rick Ludeman MLC president.

University instructors may request free access to the Bridges Educator site for themselves and their students. This "teacher portal" contains the full contents of the Bridges program in PDF format as well as a host of support resources.

Pam Harris, lead author for Bridges grades 3-5, is an early proponent of this program and is currently using the Bridges Educator site as a resource in her math methods course at University of Texas at Austin. She will also deliver a presentation on the topic at the next Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators annual conference.
