Announcing Bridges Intervention, Revised Edition
At the Math Learning Center, we believe that all students can make sense of mathematics. Some students just need more time, more opportunities, and more support than others. Our approach emphasizes problem solving, the use of faithful visual models, and a focus on developing fluency.
Consequently, we’ve revised Bridges Intervention to reflect those beliefs and build on the strengths of all students and teachers by:
- Increasing the focus on equitable teaching practices
- Promoting a positive mathematics identity for every student
- Updating the language and sequence of activities
- Improving the usability of the materials
